Born in India and raised in the United States, Tiarra grew up following simple Ayurvedic principles before she knew what Ayurveda was. A longtime editor, journalist, and TV producer, she has served as an editor at Entertainment Weekly, Vibe, and Interview and has covered health and beauty for Prevention, Everydayhealth.com, Health.com, and other national outlets. She has also written and produced for VH1 and BET. She is completing a health coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is passionate about balancing evidence-based science and nutrition with the traditional wisdom of mindfulness and holistic healing.
