This session will take participants on a tour through the five eras in the integrative medicine field’s evolution. Expanding interest among change agents inside the mainstream medical industry in value-based care, health and wellbeing, patient-centered care, non-pharmacologic approaches, and whole health models are creating new opportunities for transformative influence. Weeks will explore eight key areas of challenge and opportunity for the field that – depending on the field’s engagement – will determine whether the field can create a preferred future.
