One of the foundational therapeutics in functional medicine is supporting detoxification for our patients. Addressing (or not addressing!) the microbiome and biofilms is fundamental for supporting immune system function, inflammation, detoxification, and lasting therapeutic effects. Please join Dr Jocelyn Strand as she discusses recent research on the Gut-Liver Axis, its importance in addressing toxicity, and effective solutions for balancing the microbiome.

Discussion Points:

  • What are biofilms?
  • How do biofilms contribute to toxic load?
  • What are some effective solutions for biofilm management?
