As healthcare professionals, our patients and possible we ourselves are increasingly interested in alternative ways for healing and growth. Many have experienced sessions with acupuncture, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, reflexology, or any number of energy modalities.

This session will briefly review the concepts of epigenetics and energy healing and the state of the current research regarding each. In addition, we will look at the theories of how energy medicine may work. Finally, we will tie all of this together in a way that would potentially allow for a framework for research into the verifiable effects of energy healing.
