Diversified Communications acquires Natural Medicine Journal

Integrative Practitioner/Natural Medicine Journal

Diversified Communications, which produces Integrative Practitioner and the Integrative Healthcare Symposium, announced today it closed on the acquisition of the Natural Medicine Journal (NMJ), a peer-reviewed digital monthly journal and website serving the integrative medicine community.

NMJ is led by an experienced editorial team, sales staff, and an Editorial Board of integrative healthcare professionals, Diversified Communications representatives said. Its audience includes a diverse group of integrative healthcare practitioners, researchers, faculty, and students.

“We are very excited to work together to expand NMJ’s business model while seeking opportunities to share content–increasing the value for all our customers, and to cross promote–expanding the audience for all products,” said Liz Plizga, Diversified Communications Group Vice President.

NMJ will remain a stand-alone product, the company said, alongside the Integrative Practitioner digital community and annual in-person Integrative Healthcare Symposium.

“I’m so pleased to have found a new home for NMJ within the integrative healthcare sector with a respected company that shares our entrepreneurial approach and commitment to quality content,” said Karolyn Gazella, NMJ’s founder and owner. “Diversified Communications also has the resources and complementary products to ensure the continued success and future growth of NMJ.”

Editor's note:  Integrative Practitioner, the Integrative Healthcare Symposium, and the Natural Medicine Journal are owned and operated by Diversified Communications.
