The European Society of Integrative Medicine (ESIM) has announced a call for nominees for their Excellence in Integrative Medicine Research Award, an international prize that recognizes scientific projects that are both innovative and excellent within the field of integrative medicine.

Two different categories will be rewarded with 2.500 euro each: one focusing on basic research, and the other focusing on clinical research.

To qualify for this award, interested parties must submit one scientific manuscript either published or accepted for publication in an indexed peer-reviewed journal during the years 2021 or 2022. The deadline for manuscript submission is April 15, 2022.

The winning manuscripts will be selected by an independent committee of international scientists upon the following three criteria: innovation, level of relevance, and scientific excellence. The award ceremony will take place in Porto, Portugal during the 14th European Congress for Integrative Medicine September 30 to October 2, 2022.

This ESIM award has been granted to integrative practitioners since 2012.

For more information on the application process, please visit ESIM’s website.
