Video: The best approach to lifestyle medicine

Practitioners can start to improve someone’s overall health by nudging them forward  in any of the areas that are most important to well-being—feet, fork, fingers, sleep, stress, and love, said David Katz, MD, MPH, FACPM, FACLM, at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York City.

Katz, the founding director (1998) of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center, and current President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, offered his advice for incorporating lifestyle medicine into patient practices, and rallied providers to come together to be a part of the solution for better public health. Take a look at the video below, which features highlights from his keynote.
