Explore cutting-edge research and innovative strategies for reducing bone loss with a focus on the gut-bone axis. In this webinar, leading experts Susan Bukata, MD, Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery, UCSD and Mark Charbonneau, PhD, Vice President of Research and Development of Journa, will discuss recent advancements in gut health and their implications for managing bone health in clinical settings.

Discover how enhancing gut barrier function, reducing systemic inflammation, and targeting osteoclast activity with BondiaTM (SBD111), a novel synbiotic medical food, can improve outcomes for patients at risk of bone loss.

Objectives:

  • Examine the connection between gut health, systemic inflammation, and bone metabolism
  • Review findings from the SBD111 clinical food trial in postmenopausal women, highlighting its role in maintaining bone mass and reducing bone resorption
  • Explore how BondiaTM (SBD111) supports bone health through its impact on gut barrier function, systemic inflammation, and osteoclast activity
  • Learn how to apply emerging evidence on gut-bone axis in clinical settings to improve outcomes for patients with bone health concerns
