$250M: Series B for Better-for-You Food Brands and Retail Expansion
Medici Brands, the New York parent company of David Protein and confectionery brand HallPass, has closed a $250 million Series B. Existing investors Greenoaks and Valor Equity Partners co-led the round, with participation from CEO Peter Rahal, ICONIQ and Imaginary Ventures. David launched in 2024 with a protein bar and has added frozen desserts and ready-to-drink shakes. The funding will expand HallPass’s retail presence and product line, move David into new formats and categories, accelerate product innovation, and build the infrastructure to launch a third brand, Rowdy, later this year. $33M: Series B for Gut and Vaginal Microbiome Testing
Tiny Health, an Austin, Texas, microbiome testing company, has raised an oversubscribed $33 million Series B led by B Capital, bringing total funding to $46 million. Founded in 2020, the company sells gut and vaginal microbiome tests that use shotgun metagenomics, starting with babies and mothers and now covering all ages. Funding will support clinical research, practitioner education, its B2B platform Powered by Tiny, and TinyAI, a tool trained on nearly 200,000 microbiome profiles. Tiny Health is also committing $5 million to a research program open to outside researchers, with studies expanding into IBD, menopause, GLP-1s and oncology drug response. $18.2M: Equity and Venture Debt for Personal Training Software in the U.S.
Enhance, a Dubai-founded personal training software company, has raised $18.2 million in equity and venture debt. Global Ventures invested in the equity portion and Stride Ventures provided the venture debt. Founded in 2018 by Tarek Mounir, Enhance began as a personal training services business and now licenses software that helps gym operators manage training programs. Its platform covers more than 700 gym locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and the U.S., supporting more than 15,000 trainers. U.S. clients include Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym. The capital will fund expansion in the United States. Press release.
$10M: Equity Raise for Virtual Autism Diagnosis and Therapy for Adults
Prosper Health, a Weston, Florida, telehealth company serving autistic and neurodivergent adults, has raised about $10 million in an equity sale to six accredited investors, according to a regulatory filing. The company sold all of the equity it offered. Founded in 2023, Prosper offers virtual autism diagnostic assessments and individual talk therapy for adults diagnosed later in life, including those with other neurodivergences such as ADHD. It does not serve pediatric patients or accept Medicare or Medicaid. Maverick Ventures is among its existing backers. The company disclosed a $16.2 million round in January 2025 and did not comment on the new raise. Source.
$10M: Series A for Sweat-Based Hydration Monitoring
Nix Biosensors has closed a $10 million Series A, bringing total funding to $17 million. The company makes a wearable sweat patch that measures fluid and electrolyte losses in real time, with adoption in elite sports, military, labor and consumer markets. Funding will go toward Nix Health, a licensable hydration algorithm built on Nix’s sweat dataset and designed to run inside existing consumer health platforms without a sensor. The company will also explore additional biomarkers detectable in sweat, including lactate, cortisol, glucose, vitamin D, testosterone and estrogen. Press release.
$8M: Seed for Nasal Microbiome Allergy Care and Retail Rollout
Wizard Wellness, an allergy care brand launched in January by beauty veteran Lorne Lucree, has closed a new $1 million funding round, according to reports. New investors Pave Health Ventures and Vanquish Equity joined existing backers True Beauty Ventures and Barrier Island Capital. The brand sells a drug-free system built on its Nasalbiome microbiome technology, including a sinus rinse, nasal spray, nasal stick and oral strips. The raise comes as it completes a rollout to more than 4,000 retail doors across Target, Walmart and CVS. An earlier report put its seed funding at $7 million from True Beauty Ventures, G9 Ventures, Able Partners and The Venture Collective. Source.
$5M: Pre-Seed for Expert-Licensed Personal Intelligence AI in Health and Wellness
Onix, a Montreal company building what it calls Personal Intelligence, has announced $5 million in pre-seed funding (about C$7 million) led by Alpha Edison. Garage Capital and Ride Home Fund participated, along with strategic investors including UTA co-founder Jeremy Zimmer and Real Ventures co-founder JS Cournoyer. Onix builds private AI systems trained on licensed knowledge from named experts, who keep governance over how their systems operate; it launched with health and wellness experts. The app is in early access on iOS, with wider availability expected later this year and Android to follow. Funds will go to platform development, expert onboarding, and research and evaluation.
