About the Experts

Joel M. Evans, MD, a board-certified OB/GYN and international lecturer, is the Director of The Center for Functional Medicine in Ridgefield, CT. He is also the Chief of Medical Affairs for the Institute for Functional Medicine. He continues to serve as the external lead of IFM Advanced Practice Module in Hormone Health since its inception in 2011 and was a Co-Creator of the IFM course on COVID-19, lead its Post-Covid Initiative and has co-authored three published papers on the pandemic.
