When applied to bioinformatics, the generative medicine paradigm (analysis and prediction integrating big data, robust modeling and algorithms) can dramatically improve the practice of precision medicine.  This lecture will demonstrate several of the software applications developed at the University of Bridgeport Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine, specifically 'Opus23', a integrated developmental environment for genomic exploration using 23andMe raw data, and 'Utopia', an additional module in Opus 23 that allows for integration of client uBiome microbiome raw data.

Mashing up these client data with pooled network data (PubMed, GWAS, ClinVar, pharmacogenomics, microbial interaction and nutrient webs, etc.) can supply the practitioner with real-time, high-value information, leading to improved predictive, preventive and personalized strategies.hen applied to bioinformatics, the generative medicine paradigm (analysis and prediction integrating big data, robust modeling and algorithms) can dramatically improve the practice of precision medicine.
