Through a collaboration between the Bay Area Veteran's Acupuncture Clinic (BAYVAC) and the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) Acupuncture College, a free reiki clinic is now available to local veterans.

The Free Reiki Clinic is open to veterans and their immediate family members every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reiki is shown to reduce anxiety, depression, stress, and insomnia, conditions that many veterans experience after returning home.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has long been a supporter of integrative therapies for veterans, and has used reiki techniques to treat a variety of diseases and conditions.
