Kid's health the focus of new supplement line

A new supplement line created by DaVinci Laboratories of Vermont in collaboration with Matt Hand, DO, FAAP, takes on a unique focus for integrative medicine, children’s health.

The partnership is launching Little DaVinci, a supplement line formulated specifically for kids. While most children’s supplements contain high amounts of sugar and no nutritional value, Little DaVinci supplements are formulated without sugar, dairy, or gluten, and are available in chewable and liquid form.

The initial offerings include a chewable vitamin C, chewable probiotic with digestive enzymes, chewable zinc, and a spray liquid liposomal melatonin. Also available is a product called Focus, a liquid supplement to support mental focus and calm behavior containing vitamins B6 and B12, magnesium, zinc, folate, betaine hydrochloride, and N, N-dimethylglycine.

In recent years, practitioners have seen an increase in clinical conditions impacting children. Insomnia, headaches and migraines, abdominal pain, stress and anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and autism are reaching near epidemic proportions among the pediatric population, according to a statement released by DaVinci Laboratories of Vermont. The new supplement line, they said, was designed to address these concerns.

DaVinci Laboratories of Vermont partnered with Hand, a highly recognized pediatric nephrologist who specialized in pediatric integrative medicine at Elliot Health System in Manchester, New Hampshire and the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

“Our goal is to provide the pediatric population with natural, therapeutic options that are based on clinical data,” said Hand the statement. “These formulas are delivered in a format kids will love and are cost effective for mom and dad.”
