Their goal is to “promote the availability of acupuncture services for all Americans.” One focus was on the assembled media. The booth “offer(ed) AOM information and demonstrations to illustrate the efficacy and necessity of acupuncture treatment to alleviate a variety of ailments.” Other participating organizations were the American Association for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and malpractice insurance carried ACC.
