Seminar Series Part I Course Description
Seminar Series Part I Course Description

Part I is a workshop utilizing a case study approach designed to help physicians successfully and knowledgeably treat their age-management patients. In two information-jammed, technique-packed days you’ll get the nuts and bolts of hormone replacement therapy. You’ll learn about monitoring and trouble-shooting HRT through powerful presentation, case studies and open discussions. Your practice of hormone replacement therapy will be based on peer-reviewed medical research and a wealth of clinical experience. Hormones discussed include estrogen, progesterone, thyroid, testosterone, DHEA, and pregnenolone for both men and women. You’ll pick up medical insights that will greatly complement your practice. This is the most comprehensive course taught on this subject, designed to give you protocols and practical information and skills that you can use the very next day you enter your office.

Seminar Series Part II Course Description
Seminar Series Part II Course Description

Part II follows the part I series with advanced concepts and up to date research. Due to the fast paced nature you must have completed Part I to attend Part II. This 2 ½ day seminar will keep you current on the appropriate skills needed to manage everyday problems. It will serve as a short refresher, including important new therapies, clinical pearls, and tricks of the trade, advanced techniques and difficult case management sessions. Treatment protocols for PCOS, chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue and vitamin supplementation will also be discussed. The field of age-management medicine continues to grow at a rapid rate making it difficult to stay abreast of all the changes. Included in the series will be an hour-long lecture that reviews the scientific literature that gives credence for this type of practice. Over 200 peer-reviewed articles, the foundation for Dr. Rouzier’s advanced course, will be provided as a reference for the participant.

Seminar Series Part III
Seminar Series Part III

This two-day course will include a one-hour advanced discussion on each hormone with questions and answers. Clinical studies of bio identical hormone replacement will be analyzed to understand treatment rationales and protocols to improve the level of care and patient compliance. While Parts I and II are didactic with limited discussion of cases and problems, part III will be focused entirely on management of difficult cases as well as facts that everyone should know about Hormone Replacement Therapy. A thorough review of prescribing style will be addressed based on interactions with patients and colleagues. In addition, we will spend 1-2 hours per day focused on emerging legal issues and practice management style.
