Integrative Healthcare Symposium: 10th anniversary

The 10^th anniversary of the Integrative Healthcare Symposium welcomed more than 1100 practitioners and healthcare professionals and offered attendees over 40 engaging and educational conference sessions as well as two floors of exhibits in addition to numerous other non-CME activities and opportunities to network with peers and learn from some of the most compelling leaders in the integrative healthcare field. 

In addition to the educational sessions that were offered at the annual conference, attendees were invited to attend a pre-conference day with two separate all-day workshops, numerous evening and breakfast symposia, receptions, and book signings to name a few. The list of speakers for the conference included Jeffrey Bland, PhD; Tracy Gaudet, MD; Tieraona Low Dog, MD; Mark Hyman, MD; David Perlmutter, MD; and James Gordon, MD. Diversified Communications, producers of the annual Integrative Healthcare Symposium, presented Leadership and Visionary awards to Tieraona Low Dog, MD and James Gordon, MD respectively with Woodson Merrell, MD also receiving a special honor for his 10 years of service as conference chair to the Integrative Healthcare Symposium.  

Networking areas were bustling with conversations between colleagues who were meeting for the first time or were busy reconnecting and reinforcing their current relationships. The event was touted as the only conference that is currently available to healthcare professionals where integrative practitioners can come to meet, network and collaborate across numerous disciplines.
