David C. Leopold, MD is Director of Integrative Medical Education at the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Leopold is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He is a certified medical acupuncturist, has also completed advanced training in osteopathic manual manipulation, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine.
Dr. Leopold is the recipient of a Bravewell Scholarship for Integrative Medicine, and is an Associate Fellow with the University of Arizona School Of Medicine, Program in Integrative Medicine. He is the recipient of the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition award.
Dr. Leopold practices integrative pain management along with wellness and lifestyle management. He has lectured nationally, including at the American Academy of Family Physician’s Scientific Assembly, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the Natural Supplements: Evidence Based Update.
Dr. Leopold completed his medical internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University Of Southern California, School Of Medicine.
