(A joint project of University of Maryland Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona, and the Bravewell Collaborative for Integrative Medicine)

The Bravewell Collaborative for Integrative Medicine, working in partnership with the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine (CIM), has awarded CIM a special educational fellowship award focused on Integrative Medicine.  This opportunity is designed for clinicians interested in developing expertise in Integrative Medicine in their own area of specialty, or in redirecting their careers into this field.

The Bravewell Collaborative has offered University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine up to two fellowships for qualifying candidates.  This award includes three components:  First, it covers full payment of the $30,000 tuition fee for the University of Arizona’s two-year distance learning certificate CME program in Integrative Medicine.  Second, as part of the Bravewell Fellowship, the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine will provide a hands-on clinical experience specifically designed to meet the unique needs and interests of the Fellows selected.  This might include participation in case conferences, shadowing, mentoring, teaching and other opportunities for clinical experience.  And, finally, the Bravewell Fellows will be offered opportunities for specialized training and community building as leaders and change agents in the field of Integrative Medicine.
