The University of Arizona’s Program in Integrative Medicine was founded in 1994 by Dr. Andrew Weil. The Program in Integrative Medicine’s mission is to lead the transformation of healthcare by creating, educating, and actively supporting a community of professionals who embody the philosophy and practice of Integrative Medicine.

Online courses
A collection of web-based education courses. Delve into Integrative Medicine courses filled with information that will benefit both you and your patients. These web-based courses utilize engaging, interactive learning with a user-friendly design, so you can focus on your education, not technology.

Fellowship
A two-year distributed learning program in Integrative Medicine. The Program in Integrative Medicine offers Fellowship, Residential Fellowship, Research Fellowship, and Integrative Family Medicine Fellowship.

Medical Students & Resident Electives
PIM offers a one month rotation in Integrative Medicine.  PIM has offered this 4th year medical student and resident rotation since 1997. This 4-week elective is in great demand with a waiting list for each slot. Priority is given to University of Arizona students; open slots are quickly filled by students from around the country.
