The Fellowship in Integrative Medicine is a nationally recognized, two-year, distance-learning certification program, combining philosophy, techniques and practical applications of integrative medicine (IM) with the personal values and beliefs of the health care provider. The Fellowship has enrolled over 350 Fellows since 2000 and is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The 1,000-hour program uses online educational techniques and incorporates three intensive one-week experiential sessions in Tucson. Fellows of the Program learn to incorporate the philosophies and techniques of IM into their clinical practices, advance research in the field and create and lead academic programs, while becoming an agent of change in a worldwide community of integrative practitioners.
