Pt initially improved. Two years later had recurrent of Mycobacterium cheloni, a more obscure and difficult to treat subtype. This patient had abcess formation in the right middle lobe. She had 3 months of double antibiotic therapy prior to surgery, then had RML excised, followed by 3 more months of IV Vancomycin and IV Cefoxitin. Despite improvement on Chest CT Scan, this patient now has recurrent MAC of the time that she originally contracted. The sensitivites are pending.
