Integrative Healthcare Symposium 2009 concluded its most successful event to date!
Over the weekend, Integrative Healthcare Symposium 2009 concluded its most successful event to date! With 5 keynotes, 30 sessions and 56 speakers, all sessions were packed with practitioners buzzing about how much information they were learning. The sold-out Exhibit Hall was well attended with over 100 companies represented. Top conference highlights included an engaging Vitamin D presentation by Dr. Michael Holick; Jeffrey Bland’s presentation explaining how arthritis, heart disease and bone loss are interconnected; Dr. Mark Hyman highlighting functional medicine cases; a movement session with Frank Lipman, MD and Gabrielle Roth and African drummers; an open dialogue nursing leadership discussion; sessions on current and future policy changes in integrative medicine; two award ceremonies for the Scietific Achievement and Visionary Leadership Awards; and, a closing keynote on prayer and medicine by Dr. Larry Dossey. The conference and exhibits offered many opportunities to network, find new products and gain new insight to improve patient care. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the audio and video recordings on IntegrativePractitioner.com. If you attended, thank you!
